Stan The Man During his 22-year
career as a left fielder and
first baseman with the St. Louis
Cardinals, Stan Musial set more
major league records than any
other player. When he retired in
1963, Stan held National League
records that included career
games played, runs batted in,
runs scored and hits. He won
seven National League batting
titles, was a three time MVP and
24 time All-Star. He was elected
to the Hall of Fame in 1969.

The Stan Musial Division
This is the unlimited age
division of AABC, appealing to
mature players of any age.
Reinstatement of ex-professional
baseball players is allowed.
There is no limit to the number
of ex-professional players
allowed on a team. The 2005 World Series Champion
was Flint, Michigan. Wooden bats
were used for the first time in
many years in the 2003 Musial
and the champion that year, the
Atlanta Yankees, repeated in
2004. Stan Musial Baseball began in
1935 and Battle Creek, Michigan
had been the World Series site
for the past sixty years.
Beginning in 2006 the venue
moved to Huntsville, Texas. Formerly known as the Major
Division, adults age 19 and
older compete in what is now
called the Stan Musial Division.
It was renamed in 1963 in honor
of the St. Louis Cardinals'
legendary outfielder and first
baseman. Many major league ball
players have seen service in
Stan Musial leagues throughout
the nation. For example, John
Smoltz, the outstanding major
league pitcher, played his last
amateur game in Stan Musial
baseball.. (Click here for more
